Prescott Police Report

June 28

2:30 a.m. Officer on patrol saw a female, identified as Erin Reuter, 28, of Hastings sitting on the curb at the corner of Kinnickinnic and Broad Streets with her jean skirt pulled down to her knees. There were several people standing near her and a male, identified as Steven Panushka, 30, of Hastings standing next to her. Reuter, who said, "I am a law abiding citizen," was cited for urinating/defecating in public.

8:06 a.m. Officer on patrol ran license of a vehicle he was following. Driver was identified as Steven Severson, 40, of Prescott who was wanted on a warrant for failure to purge child support our of Pierce County. Officer took Severson into custody and transported him to Pierce County Jail.

June 29

2:40 p.m. While assisting at a traffic stop, officer saw another car pass them at a high rate of speed. Officer initiated stop on Hwy 10 bridge. Driver was identified as Sarita Craven, 26, of Minneapolis. Craven was cited for speeding.

7:03 a.m. Richard Lindsey, 59, of W. St. Paul was issued a citation for boat launch failure to display or unpaid fees.

11:04 p.m. Officer cited Benjamin Anderson, of Savage, Minn., for driving 43 mph in a 30 mph zone.

June 30

6:53 p.m. Officer stopped vehicle for failure to display plates and noticed driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts. Driver Chace Freier, 22, of Ellsworth and passenger Branden Sirotiak, 18, of Cottage Grove were both cited for the violation.

July 1

6:53 p.m. Officer running radar at Dakota Street and Hwy 10 activated radar which indicated a vehicle driven by Dorthy Dale, 79, of Menomonie was driving 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.

9:03 p.m. Officer climbed through an open window and shut off the water in the women's bathroom in the beach house at Prescott beach.

July 2

11:16 a.m. Richard Lindsey, 59, of W. St. Paul was issued another citation for boat launch failure to display or unpaid fees.

12:41 a.m. Officer running radar at Hwy 35 and the waste water treatment plant clocked a motorcycle traveling south at 60 mph in a 35 mph zone. Andrew Svedin, 23, of Cottage Grove was cited for speeding.

July 3

9:17 p.m. Officers assisted EMS at Muddy Waters with a 34-year-old female who fell on the ground sweating when her friends talked about surgery. Victim said she fainted and it ran in her family and refused medical assistance.

11:48 p.m. Officer found two men sleeping in a tent in Freedom Park. Evershed Mattingly, 23, of Eagan and Evan Pack, 25, of Milwaukee said they were traveling to Ashland, Ore. by bike. They were advised of park hours and told to move on.

July 4

3:28 a.m. James Steffen was issued a parking ticket for a 3-hour parking violation.

1:59 p.m. Officer assisted Pierce County Deputies at an accident scene involving a motorcycle three to four miles south of Prescott. Officer secured the scene until deputies arrived then directed traffic and assisted with clearing the scene.

2:51 p.m. Officer running radar clocked a grey Mazda traveling south on S. Broad Street at Jefferson Street at 58 mph in a 35 mph zone. Officer cited grant Dupre, 30, of Boulder, Col. for speeding.

4:49 p.m. Officer dispatched to a residence on Borner Street to assist a woman who fell and needed help getting into her chair.

TOWN OF OAK GROVE

Pierce County Court Hearing

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 -

9:45 a.m. Pierce County Courthouse - Ellsworth, WI

 

Intersavings Bank FSB v. Town of Oak Grove, Pierce County Case no. 08CV99.

The purpose of the hearing will be to determine whether an injunction should be issued to keep the Town of Oak Grove from enforcing or acting on its Raze Order issued with respect to the property located at W11985 565th Ave. Prescott, WI. This is not a meeting of the Town Board and no Town Board action will be taken, but quorum of the Town Board may be present at the Circuit Court hearing.

Change of Election Voting Location

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Partisan Primary Election to be held in the Town of Oak Grove, on Tuesday September 9, 2008 and the General Election to be held in the Town of Oak Grove, on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 will be conducted at the school building located at W10137 570th Avenue. This school building is on the St. Mary's Big River Church.

This change will provide additional space for the anticipated large voter turn out for the up coming elections.
