No one loves your dog as much as you do.
Seriously.
We know this because at least once a week we are asked to write an editorial about dogs that bark, run loose and owners who don't clean up after their dogs.
Often these requests come from dog owners who love their dogs and don't want your dog running at them when they are out walking.
Sometimes these requests from people who are just tired of listening to your dog bark.
Frequently we are asked to say something about people who get a dog and put their kennel as close to the neighbors as possible, making it as far from their own home as they can build. They don't understand why you want a dog but want it in their back yard.
Then there are the calls of nature.
Despite the sign, it is not against the law to walk your dog in the cemetery. It is however, against the law to not pick up after your dog.
Everywhere.
Even if you think it might be okay, it isn't
So for everyone's peace of mind, carry a bag and keep your dog on a leash...unless it is in a kennel close to your house, where you can hear it if it barks.
