Prescott Police Report

Jan. 26

1:42 a.m. Matthew J. Juen, 25, Cottage Grove, Minn., was arrested on a warrant pickup.

11:18 p.m. Linda A. Erickson, 55, Prescott, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Ash and Flora streets.

Jan. 27

7:40 a.m. Dominic N. Schiro, 31, Bloomington, Minn., was arrested on a warrant pickup.

Jan. 28

1:20 a.m. John M. Sandoval, 23, Prescott, was to be cited for a hit-and-run, failure to notify police of an accident, inattentive driving and failure to stop at a stop sign after an accident occurred at 353 Flora St. S.

10:38 p.m. Joshua J. Stark, 22, Prescott, was cited for operating a vehicle while suspended.

Jan. 29

3:00 p.m. Jodi M. Carlson, 45, Prescott, was cited for issuing a worthless check.

7:48 p.m. Stanley Boles, 73, Prescott, was cited for a seat belt violation.

Jan. 30

2:12 a.m. Joseph R. Roscoe, 43, River Falls, was cited for operating a vehicle after revocation and for having open intoxicants in a vehicle.

9:53 p.m. Ryan A. Jacobson, 21, Prescott, was arrested for a third offense of operating a motor vehicle while impaired and was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

3:30 p.m. Criminal damage to property was reported at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 269 S. Dakota St. A door on the northwest corner of the building had been shot three times with what appears to have been a BB gun.

7:06 p.m. Daniel J. Ditzler, 36, Cottage Grove, Minn., was arrested for a domestic disturbance and was placed on a probation hold.

10:30 p.m. Adam C. Wilson, 21, Prescott, was cited for failure to stop at stop sign posted at the intersection of Ash and Flora streets.

Jan. 18

Raymond E. Zielke, 67, Bay City, pled guilty to misdemeanor bail jumping, sentence withheld pending completion of a one-year probation including alcohol or drug assessment and treatment, payment of $88 court costs and restitution to be determined, related to an incident in the village of Ellsworth on Nov. 17, 2006.

Jan. 29

Paul H. Peterson, 44, River Falls, had a pretrial conference scheduled on Feb. 12 on charges of battery and disorderly conduct in an incident in River Falls on Dec. 16, 2006.

Alfredo Perez-Goplen, 18, Ellsworth, had a pretrial conference scheduled on Feb. 12 on a charge of theft of movable property valued at less than $2,500 in an incident in the town of Diamond Bluff on Nov. 1, 2006.

Alicia J. Duven, 22, River Falls, had a warrant for her arrest issued for failing to make an initial appearance related to a misdemeanor theft incident in River Falls that occurred between Oct. 25 and Nov. 3, 2006.

Daniel P. Mueller, 23, Prescott, filed a motion for judicial substitution during an initial appearance related to a charge of misdemeanor theft in the town of Oak Grove on Feb. 14, 2006.

Michelle M. O'Brien, 44, Prescott, had a plea hearing scheduled on March 19 on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in an incident in Prescott on Dec. 21, 2006.

Joan M. Hendrickson, 44, Ellsworth, had a pretrial conference scheduled on Feb. 12 on a modified charge of criminal trespass to a dwelling in an incident in Prescott on Oct. 19, 2006.

Brently B. Griffin, 43, Ellsworth, had a plea hearing scheduled for April 23 on a charge of disorderly conduct in an incident in the village of Ellsworth on Oct. 24, 2006.

Wendell T. Brown, 31, (address unlisted), had a pretrial conference scheduled on Feb. 15 on charges of physical abuse of a child and substantial battery in incidents in River Falls Nov. 25-26, 2006.

Danielle T. Albert, 17, Baldwin, had a warrant for her arrest cancelled and a preliminary hearing scheduled on Feb. 23 on a charge of delivering marijuana as a party to a crime in an incident in River Falls on Nov. 9, 2006.

Kemesha A. Harper, 22, Elmwood, had a pretrial conference scheduled on Feb. 12 on a charge of disorderly conduct in an incident in the village of Elmwood on Jan. 26.

Jan. 30

Dawn M. Blank, 42, Ellsworth, had a pretrial conference scheduled on Feb. 16 on a charge of disorderly conduct in an incident in the town of Ellsworth on Oct. 28, 2006.

Donald E. Anderson, 19, Arkansaw, had a sentencing hearing on revocation of a deferred prosecution agreement scheduled on Feb. 27 related to violating the agreement he entered into on Feb. 3, 2006, stemming from a charge of misdemeanor theft in an incident in the town of Union on June 16, 2005.

Christopher D. Haselhorst, 22, Glendale Heights, Ill., pled guilty to theft of movable property, sentence withheld pending completion of a three-year probation including paying court fees and costs of $347, undergoing alcohol or drug assessment and treatment and supplying a DNA sample, related to an incident in River Falls on Sept. 25, 2003.

Pamela R. Geib, 36, Ellsworth, pled guilty to neglecting a child, sentence withheld pending completion of a one-year probation including payment of court cost totaling $88, related to an incident in the village of Ellsworth on Sept. 26, 2006.

David A. Grengs, 39, River Falls, had a warrant issued for his arrest for failing to make an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge in an incident in River Falls on Nov. 8, 2006.

Dominic (NMI) Schiro, 31, Bloomington, Minn., had a warrant for his arrest cancelled and a jury trial scheduled on a charge of criminal trespass to a dwelling in an incident in Prescott on Dec. 27, 2006.

Robert L. Gaines, 17, Prescott, pled guilty to theft of movable property valued at less than $2,500, sentence withheld pending completion of a one-year probation including undergoing alcohol or drug assessment and treatment, completing his high school education, paying court costs of $88 and restitution to be determined, in an incident in Prescott on Sept. 1, 2006. Gaines also had a concurrent two-year probation imposed related to his guilty plea to separate charges brought in that incident. His record will be expunged if he successfully completes probations and applies to the court for that measure.

Jan. 31

Gerald R. Erickson, 47, Prescott, pled no contest to disorderly conduct and forfeited fines and fees of $129.30 related to an incident in Prescott on Sept. 30, 2006.

Jason M. Powell, 27, Spring Valley, pled guilty to criminal damage to property and was ordered to pay court costs and fines of $198.60 and pay restitution totaling $1,093.86 related to an incident in the village of Spring Valley on June 30, 2006.


Town of Oak Grove

Planning Commission

 

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Oak Grove Township will meet the second Thursday of every month. The next meeting will be March 8, 2007, At the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.

The Planning Commission meeting scheduled for February 28, 2007 has been canceled.

The Planning Commission has not received any requests for reviews for the month of February.

PUBLIC COMMENT

A telecommunications project has been proposed for construction north of W12302 State Road 29 in the City of Prescott, Pierce County, Wisconsin. The project will consist of the construction of a 180-foot monopole telecommunications tower with associated equipment. This notice is to serve as an opportunity for members of the public to comment on the proposed tower with regards to potential effect on historic properties.
